Flying Machine were formed in 2018 in Byron Bay, Australia by brothers Gauranga and Christian Wright. Originally playing bass (Christian) and guitar (Gauranga) in a local rock band the brothers decided to leave the project to work on their own heavier and faster sound, releasing their first EP months later. Flying Machine have 1 Ep, EP1 (2018) and 2 full-length albums, the self-titled Flying Machine (2019) and Angels (2022).

More recently supporting Skeggs in the U.S.A on their West Coast Tour, Flying Machine currently base themselves in California, self-recording their 3rd LP in their studio from October-November 2022.
